Lauren Spivack

Group Leader

Lauren Spivack, mother to Leonardo and Elizabeth, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and spent nearly a decade working at a nonprofit health center. With a background in marketing, communications, and development, she brings a thoughtful and community-centered perspective to everything she does.

Becoming a mother taught her to slow down, savor the moment, and focus on making lasting memories. She joined Ocean State Kids to become her children’s most influential teacher and to nurture their curiosity through nature.

After the birth of her second child, Lauren made the decision to step away from her career to spend more time exploring with her little ones. Through Ocean State Kids, she found deep connection with local families and was inspired by the joy her son experienced in nature. What began as a simple outing quickly turned into a calling—one that led her to step into the role of Group Leader and help create these same moments for others.
