Join us for a nature walk where we’ll search for items that match the letters of the alphabet! Along the way, children will gather sticks to craft the first letter of their name – blending early literacy with hands-on exploration.

2 YEARS OLD
ENCOURAGEMENTS
Encourage your child to pick up sticks and feel the different textures while searching for letters.
Help them say the names of the items they find, emphasizing the starting letter sound.

3 YEARS OLD
ENCOURAGEMENTS
Invite your child to guess what letter each item starts with during the walk.
Encourage them to find sticks to form the first letter of their name

4 YEARS OLD
ENCOURAGEMENTS
Ask your child to name and describe the shapes of the letters they see in nature.
Encourage them to create more than one letter using different materials.
