FOREST FERNS CO-OP
Outdoor Homeschool Co-op
Seekonk, Massachusetts

East Bay Forest Ferns Co-Op is an outdoor preschool cooperative for children ages 3–5 and their caregivers, where little learners can explore, play, and grow together amidst the beauty of the forest at Osamequin Farm in Seekonk, MA.
Each weekly gathering offers hands-on, nature-based activities that nurture curiosity and support children’s natural development through play, exploration, and connection with the natural world. Guided by the children’s interests and the rhythms of the seasons, our weekly themes emerge organically from what we discover together.
Sessions include opportunities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, outdoor creative projects, yoga and mindfulness, and engage in early academic concepts. Each day also weaves in gentle structure that will help build a sense of community and belonging.

how it works...
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on membership donations and community partners to keep Ocean State Kids thriving! Your membership is more than just a fee—it’s essentially a donation. This contribution helps us remain sustainable, cover operational costs, and expand our offerings so we can continue to serve children and families for years to come. We strive to keep weekly costs affordable, averaging $5–$12 per week, depending on the Membership Donation plan you choose. Please note that Memberships become available when families forfeit their participation or new groups start in new locations. Because memberships fund vital program expenses that are budgeted and paid for in advance, they are generally nonrefundable. If a group is unavailable, please join the waitlist here.
